If you wish to participate in HSINMUN IX as an observer this year, please read the following:
Conference Date: 2013/10/12-13
Conference Location: National Experimental High at Hsinchu Science Park (http://www.nehs.hc.edu.tw)
What will I be doing as an observer?
Officers will take observers on a tour of the conference and show them all the committees, but most importantly explain how we planned the conference (because a lot of schools have been asking me how to run a successful conference. They want to host their own conference themselves). Then, staff will take observers into separate committee rooms to observe the debate.
We will call observers out after a while to help us set up the gym for the social event. Afterwards, observers will be able to join us at the social event. Then the next day, observers will continue to observe at their respective committee rooms, until the Crisis upon which observers will join a select group of delegates in a separate debate room. Later, observers will be called out sometime in the middle to help us set up for the World Trade Game in the gym. We will provide more information on the social event, Crisis, and the World Trade Game soon. Please note that, since we just recently decided to open up observer positions, the activities that we will engage the observers in may be subject to change.
Who can apply:
Anyone who isn't already a delegate of HSINMUN.
How to apply: (Due date: 9/4/2013)
Answer the following questions and send it to my email ([email protected])

4. Why do you want to be an observer at HSINMUN? What do you hope to get out of this experience? What do you expect to learn at the conference
