“There are those who look at the way things are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?” -Robert F. Kennedy
Greetings!
First, I would like to give a shout out to all the High School MUNers who attended the National Taiwan High School Model United Nations Symposium: YOU GUYS ROCK!
Yet, the end of the symposium does not mean we have accomplished our mission. During the Symposium, representatives came up with feasible solutions to tackle major issues, such as negative competition and lack of communication. One of main consensuses is to create a platform for resource sharing and cross-club networking. Thus, I am proud to say that this website is launched to fulfill the aforementioned goals.
If you are a MUNer, we hope you find networking more convenient and effective than ever before.
If you are a prospective MUNer, we hope you find MUN interesting and worth-trying while reading through the introductions.
If you are a MUN conference organizer, we hope the information provided will assist you through the process more smoothly.
If you are a MUN conference participant, we hope the guides above help you on understanding the ROP, drafting resolutions, and debating.
As James has mentioned in the previous article, the entire process of gathering up MUN clubs across Taiwan was never easy. We truly hope that we could motivate the next generation to resolve the long-term issues and to strengthen the ties amongst schools.
On behalf of the secretariat team, I would like to once again extend my warmest welcome to you all.
I have been doing Model United Nations for 2 years, and it has already changed my life. I hope it will change yours too.
To the High School Model United Nations Society, cheers!
